Life in Mongolia

Here are some photo's mostly taken by my sister when she was here, of life out and about in Mongolia. Some pictures are from the local BIG market where you can buy anything and everything, some are from our trip 400km south to a smaller town called Arvaikheer and also I have included one from  our window showing how the ice is cleared from the streets over here.

We had a great group of friends over last night for a pizza night - there was a LOT of pizza made and consumed and lots of fun. Today Steve is off honing his snowboarding skills again - think we're going to have to start saving up for that ski-pass when we get back to N.Z. We're hoping tonight to go out to a break-dancing competition that's close to our place, Justus loves dancing, in fact he seems unable to not dance if there's some particularly good music playing. So we thought we'd take him out and show him how the big kids do it. I guess we should also take him to the Mongolian Ballet one day but that just doesn't sound as exciting for his parents.

We've now sent of Justus' application for N.Z. correspondence school and are hoping the the Mongolian postal system manages to get applications and school work arrived in a vaguely timely manner.

Loads of love - we'd love some N.Z. updates sometime.
