We've now also packed up and moved out off Jennies house and are now rotating the last of our clothes that aren't packed already for Mongolia. It's looking like our luggage is going to be within weight limits and we still have a little space for a few luxuries like milo and jellybeans :) and maybe a couple of extra books.
This weekend we are in Dunedin visiting Belinda's sister, Dad and Grandparents and are having a great time, although poor Justus is feeling a bit under the weather with a sore throat and cough.
The plan is to be back in Christchurch on Monday at Belinda's Mum's house for the final 2 nights. We fly to Auckland about midday on Wednesday then need to be back at the airport on Thursday morning for a 9am departure with 12 hous flying to Seoul. We will stop in Seoul for 2 nights for a little acclimatisation/recovery before another 3 1/2 hours onto Ulaanbaatar on the evening of the 15th.
Steve was able to count down the final 30 kilometres on our drive to Dunedin in Mongolian and Justus and Riley are also picking up one or two words which is fun.
The real focus now is trying to be well rested and prepared before our 12 hours of plane travel. I can't wait to be sitting somewhere in Ulaanbaatar updating this blog.
Until then,
